Gilles Bertocchi

Gilles Bertocchi has been a member of Paris Horn Sound since 2020, a member of the ensemble CU2+ Brass since 2012, a member of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris since 2005, and principal horn player with the Orchestre Colonne since 1998. He performs in trio alongside Paul Rouger (violin), David Zambon (tuba), Nicolas Dautricourt (violin) and Patrick Zygmanowski (piano), and collaborates regularly with Florence Bellon (flute), Jean-Pascal Meyer (piano), Daniel Arrignon (oboe), Nicolas Dessenne (piano), Rachel Guilloux (soprano) and Margot Modier (piano). He also occasionally appears with the Parisii Quartet. He premiered a work by Philippe Durand with Élisabeth Kissel (contrabassoon) and Violeta Milosavljevic (accordion), and performs on natural horn with Claire Parruitte (viola) and Jean-Édouard Carlier (double bass). Highlights of his solo career include Strauss’s Horn Concerto No. 1 with Orchestre Colonne under the baton of Marc Korovitch at Salle Wagram in 2019, and Saint-Saëns’s Morceau de concert conducted by Ilan Sousa at Salle Colonne in 2021.
