Stephie Souppaya

Stephie Souppaya began studying the viola at the age of five at the Cergy-Pontoise Regional Conservatory with Laurent Bruni, where she was awarded a gold medal with honours, unanimously, and a prize for excellence with the compliments of the jury.
In 2016, she entered the CNSMD in Paris, in Sabine Toutain’s viola class, earning her bachelor’s degree with honours and, in June 2021, her master’s with highest distinction. At the same time, she obtained a degree in chamber music with honours, studying in a piano quartet formation. She has been taught by Bruno Giuranna, Agathe Blondel, Jean-Philippe Vasseur, Michel Michalakakos, Christophe Gaugué, Christophe Giovaninetti, and Garth Knox, and has performed under the direction of emanant conductors such as Lars Vogt, Maxim Emelyanychev, and Matthias Pintscher.
She has been a member of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris since 2020.
