Franck Della Valle

violon solo

As associate concertmaster of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris since 2004, Franck Della Valle has always enjoyed crossing genres and exploring a broad spectrum of composers. He was unanimously awarded first prizes in violin and chamber music at the CNSMD in Paris and also received a prize at the International Florence Competition (Italy) in the sonata category.

Curious about all forms of human adventure, he collaborates with a remarkably diverse range of artists, including baritone Mario Hacquard, Christian Olivier (leader of Les Têtes Raides), Brazilian singer Flavia Coelho, rappers Ménélik and Kohndo, and jazz musician Simone Prattico. Deeply drawn to dance and theatre, he has worked with choreographers Nathalie Pernette and Hervé Sika, as well as stage directors Florent Siaud and Héloïse Sérazin.

Endlessly inventive, he also composes and arranges numerous works, notably for his septet Salad, whose repertoire spans classical music, jazz standards, and blues.
