Kana Egashira

Kana Egashira began studying the violin at the age of five and quickly distinguished herself during several national and international competitions, notably winning first prize in the ‘Pančo Vladigerov’ International Competition in Bulgaria in 2015.

She trained at the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts before enrolling at the CNSMD in 2013. There, she studied with Svetlin Roussev, Florin Szigeti, Ayako Tanaka, Olivier Charlier, and Joanna Matkowska, graduating with a master’s degree in 2018.

Kana Egashira regularly performs in Japan, Bulgaria, and France with orchestras including the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre des Abbayes du Festival des Voûtes Célestes, the Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra, the Shumen State Symphony Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra of Ruse State Opera. She has been a member of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris since 2019.
