Nathalie Crambes

Before joining the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Nathalie Crambes played with many of France’s leading symphonic ensembles, including the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France, and the Orchestre de Paris, under the direction of Kurt Masur, Michel Plasson, Seiji Ozawa, David Robertson, Eliahu Inbal, Jaap van Zweden, Joseph Swensen, Myung-Whun Chung, Gianandrea Noseda, Daniele Gatti, Mikko Franck, Alan Gilbert, Riccardo Muti, and Paavo Järvi.
She began studying the violin at the age of five at the Institut Suzuki in Lyon. After earning first prizes of excellence in violin and chamber music at the conservatories (CNR) of Lyon and Marseille, she spent several years studying with Tibor Varga at the Académie Supérieure de Musique de Sion, in Switzerland.
Nathalie Crambes is a certified Suzuki teacher and holds a bachelor’s degree in musicology. She has been a member of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris since 2019.
