Sophie Guille des Buttes

violon

Sophie Guille des Buttes has been fascinated by the violin since the age of seven, after hearing Sibelius’s concerto performed by Christian Ferras. Her musical development was shaped by formative encounters with Christophe Poiget and Roland Daugareil, with whom she studied at the CNSMD in Paris in 2016, earning a master’s degree with honours.

A devoted chamber musician, Sophie Guille des Buttes founded the Quatuor Bellefeuille in 2015. The ensemble studied with Luc-Marie Aguera, followed by Louis Rodde and Jean Sulem, at the CNSMD in Paris. Selected by Dimore del Quartetto, the quartet performs regularly at festivals across France and Italy.

She has been a member of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris since 2021, and regularly performs with Orchestre Consuelo and Orchestre Lamoureux.
