Su-Yeon Antonia Roessler
Violin
Originally from Baden, Austria, Su-Yeon Antonia Roessler grew up in a family of musicians. She began her musical training at the age of four, first with the recorder, before taking up the violin two years later. She pursued both instruments for many years, eventually devoting herself exclusively to the violin upon entering the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she studied with Christian Altenburger.
A formative Erasmus year at the CNSMD in Lyon, as a student of Marianne Piketty, steered her musical path towards France, where she went on to complete a master’s degree.
Driven by her deep interest in chamber music, she subsequently returned to Vienna to complete a master’s degree specialising in chamber music repertoire, under the guidance of Johannes Meissl and Peter Schumayer.
She is now a regular guest at numerous festivals in France and Austria and performs with a range of European ensembles.
In 2025, she joined the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris.
