Tania Passendji

Tania Passendji is a passionate violinist who has developed a strong musical identity and extensive professional experience. After being unanimously awarded a first prize in violin at the conservatory in Rueil-Malmaison, she continued her studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, earning a both bachelor’s and master’s degree in musical interpretation. She further refined her skills at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano with Carlo Chiarappa. In 2016, she received a scholarship for an orchestral fellowship in London with the Southbank Sinfonia.

Based in London, she regularly collaborates with leading orchestras such as the BBC Philharmonic, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

A versatile and eclectic artist, she is a member of the Chineke! Orchestra and the Decus Ensemble, which explores chamber music by African and Caribbean composers. A dedicated teacher, she shares her passion for music with her students. She joined the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris in February 2024.
