Émeline Concé

Violon

Violinist Émeline Concé finds her fullest expression in chamber music. A member of the European Chamber Music Academy, she studied with mentors Hatto Beyerle and Johannes Meissl and pursued further training at the CNSMDP under Svetlin Roussev and Vladimir Mendelssohn.

In 2011, she founded the Akilone Quartet, with which she won first prize at the 8th International String Quartet Competition in Bordeaux in 2016, as well as the Proquartet Prize. With this ensemble, she performs across France, Europe, and Japan. She also appears in a variety of other ensembles, most notably the duo Svadistana, which has formed with violist Gabrielle Lafait since 2011. At festivals, she has collaborated with many distinguished artists, including Anne Le Bozec, Alain Meunier, Gérard Caussé, Pierre Fouchenneret, Louis Rodde, Flore Merlin, and Violaine Despeyroux.

Deeply committed to music outreach, Émeline Concé performs in a wide range of settings—including prisons, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, schools, and refugee centres—through concerts, presentations, and workshops, notably with Concerts de Poche and Musethica.

She is also active as an orchestral musician. She has served as Principal Second Violin of the Orchestre Lamoureux since 2012, and has been regularly invited to the same position with the Orchestre National de Lille since 2022. She joined the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris in 2023.
