Olivia Hughes is principal violin of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, artistic director of the Festival de Musique de Chambre d’Entrecasteaux, and a member of the Smoking Josephine quintet alongside Geneviève Laurenceau, Marie Chilemme, Hermine Horiot, and Lorraine Campet.

She holds the French national conservatory teaching diploma (certificate d’aptitude) and taught at the Créteil conservatory before spending a period with the Orchestre National de Lyon.

Since 2020, she has been regularly invited to perform with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
